Sven's 44-year dental lab technician career began in his native Germany where he completed his degree and apprenticeship and then worked for his apprenticeship lab as a technician and manager for 13 years. In 1994, Sven opened a dental lab in Pittsburgh, PA, primarily focusing on implants. By 2023, the lab was restoring over 12,000 implants a year, as well as complex cases, singles crowns, and removable cases. Sven founded Jesse Dental Fusions LLC in 2024 and continues to provide chairside conversion guidance and assistance during surgical procedures for All-on-4 cases. For years Sven has lectured for numerous implant manufacturers as well provide educational programs to the University of Pittsburgh Dental Schools and Allegheny General Hospital's Dental Department. He has been a Seattle Study Club member for 15 years, both to continue growing his own knowledge and to give back to the dental community. Sven has also been a member of ICOI, AACD, and ITI.
